A Bit About Me

A variety of life circumstances lead me to my destiny of Pet Care for Dogs.  Poor health created an opportunity for a much healthier way of life; with time outdoors and in nature – all four seasons. Initially paid employment working for small company, as a dog walker; started a process of where I am living today. That was the foundation which propelled my journey for providing overnight dog care; at my home for small dogs – one dog at a time or sibling dogs. Not only am I healthy, but I thoroughly enjoy what I do!

Passion for Dogs Beyond Companionship

My interest in Dogs progressed to not just being around dogs!

Commitment to Exceptional Pet Care

Focus shifted to the necessity, for me to provide the absolute best care available, for pets in my care; while reducing the stressful situation for pet parents. Realized from experience; the challenge of leaving pets in the care of someone else. Over the years we were pet parents of 5 dogs from puppy to senior stage and beyond….

The Birth of Dogs Nite Inn

My research started with the inception of Dogs Nite Inn (LinkedIn 2012) providing overnight dog care to friends, family, and neighbors. The pets in my care confirmed I was on the right leg of the journey. Displaying their comfort around me; the dogs in my care would wander off to bed – upstairs; on their own.

Building a Foundation of Trust and Care

This certainly left paw prints on my heart, which is how I came to the design of a business card. With a background in business; a dog collar of education in pet care was the harness required. The dog leash led the way to a refresher course in small business, Pet First Aid, Dog Grooming Instruction, and Pet Care 101; as well as, an associate membership with the Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council. After 35 years PIJAC has been rebranded as Pets Canada.

Certainly, the commitment I could walk with:
